Peace,
And in reverence of the Kemetic community worldwide, HOTEP!
This is a personal duty of mine to relay my thoughts and conscious awareness, as it grows.
It has very little to do with my ego or vanity (although constantly needing some deflating) (smile). THIS IS NECESSARY!
I have seen countless articles on The 42 Laws of Maat which PROCEED The Ten Commandments and even are derived from them, since they are 2000 years older!
The name or title “Maat” simply means : Truth/Law.
As part of the Kemetic rise of power and the dynasty, goddesses were always honored and used as pillars or (standards) for society to follow. Maat is depicted as a black wombman with arms (or wings) outstretched, with a ostritch feather in her headband. This is because the feather is used to WEIGH AGAINST the HEARTS of those passing (in death) from this realm to another. Anubis works with her to prepare the dead ceremonially AND accept them BASED ON THEIR ACTIONS while on this plane.
“During the reign of Pharaoh Menes, around 2925 B.C.E., after the unification of upper and lower Kemet, archaeological finds evidence administration of the 42 Laws of Maat among the Kemet people” http://www.blackhistoryheroes.com/2013/02/42-laws-of-maat-under-kemet-law-and.html
The following are those divine “laws” :
The 42 Divine Principles of Maat in Budge’s native English follows:

40.I have not taken food from a child.
41.I have not acted with insolence.
42.I have not destroyed property belonging to God/Goddess
……
Mind you..we are PROBLABLY ALL GUILTY! So before you go to jump off the nearest cliff in despair..PLEASE DONT!
This is a STANDARD and applies to the HIGHEST DEEDS AS some can outweight others in importance and energetic power as it affects others.
I am an OMNIEST SO I DELVE INTO SCRIPTURE OF ALL KINDS, THE TRUTH IS EVERYWHERE.
The Bible talks about negative deeds being DISMISSED by the Godhead , which in this case would be a God/male diety , as it states in the following:
“He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.” (Micah 7:18-19)
Niice…and yet, this is a very feminine attribute!
Then we have the very dogmatic concept that we are all “born with sinful nature…blah blah blah”. I don’t respect low vibrational beings ascribing their nature to mine. We are NOT ALL THE SAME! (ANOTHER BLOG)..
So lets speak in practical terms. How do we apply such a heavy standard? Seems like some think to IGNORE IT! WELL THOSE PERSONS CAN IGNORE MY BLOG AS WELL as I try to apply some form of a standard to myself and actions..don’t you??!
The very simply put #13. ” have not made anyone cry” one can see this is SIMPLE, GOLDEN RULE STUFF!
Who wants to cry? Who wants to be hungry? who wants their wife stolen from them??
Not a soul..unless there was a benefit attached to the pain.
{Common sense folks}.
That’s what I am about…
Who wants to be marginalized? Abused? Maligned? Burdened?
At the same time, those are what the Ancestors use to FORCE CONSCIOUSNESS TO OPEN..ARE THEY SINNING??
{YALL NOT READY}
So these are a set of societal precepts…very few follow. And this is the sad part. We can have a healthier society..if we desired.
But who actually wants to build , form, and manage a higher vibrational community?? (Bullhorn//email me!!)
I am sorry to take a comic view of this but the way some of our BEST behave is unscrupulous…as we let the words “Hotep” “As-Salaam-Alaikum” and “Shalom” leave our lips.
Wars, pillaging, chaos!
Appalling!
The Christians speak of Generational Curses, and in African Spirituality or Voodou, we learn of ENERGY and how it is MANIPULATED to bring about circumstances. LOW VIBRATIONAL ACTS CAN AFFECT ONES CONSCIOUSNESS to the point of INSANITY and the TOXICITY can spread like a virus, affecting others. As a matter of fact, the WORSE SINS SEEMS TO BE THOSE THAT AFFECT OTHERS NEGATIVLY…NOT JUST THE “SINNER”.
He writes : “Death does not write “The end ” to human lifebut that the soul of the deceased ancestor who has lived well and “died a good death” will return to the Source of all beings and will continue to live in the abode of departed spirits..”
Sin and Its Removal in African Traditional Religion
J. Ọmọṣade Awolalu Journal of the American Academy of Religion pp. 275-287
Based on this, we truly will be “judged” or as I see it “classified” based on our actions…based on who we ARE!
We SHOULD BE CONSTANTLY ASSESING AND JUDGING OUR OWN ACTIONS!!
I CAN’T STAND WHEN ADULTS SAY “I DON’T KNOW” WHEN YOU ASK THEM WHY THEY DID SOMETHING! STOP THAT! LOL.
Of course you know..and when filtering actions (consciously assessing)thru the heart chakra center, actions should improve. This also involves great personal inventory (an assessment to quantify if what you do makes sense). As I have done this MORE these days (as the frequency demands it. I actually found I was and had been for sometime, very unjust to myself. This happens when trying to navigate , interpersonally thru this matrix. I also found that many were also not kind to me).
These types of self discoveries lead us to make changes,
adjust, build boundaries, and RAISE BY DEGREES TO A MORE FUNCTIONAL and happier life. I believe this is what was meant by the declaration of these laws…as well as newer visitors to the planet (we can discuss that in another blog post 🙂 Appreciate you for reading my thoughts! {Stepping off soapbox..}
The rest is up to you!
Hotep! Shalom! As-salaam-Alaikum!

I love this article. Even if you can’t pronounce Ma’at this is an eye opener
